2023 Farm to Table Fundraising Raffle

  1. 1. Tickets

    Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.

    Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.

  2. 2. 50/50

    BC Gaming Event Licence #144395

    1 for $10.00; 1000 tickets
    3 for $20.00; 1500 tickets

    The 50/50 is a draw where the money received in ticket sales is divided evenly between the winner and the charity.

    Maximum 50/50 payout will be $10,000.00.

  3. 3. Important Dates & Draw Information

    Deadline
    Final ticket sales deadline: September 20, 2023 at 11:59:59 p.m. PDT

    Draw
    50/50 draw: September 21, 2023 at 11:00:00 a.m. PDT

    If for some reason, the draw cannot take place on the draw date listed, a substitute draw date and time will be selected. All ticket purchasers will be able to see the amended draw date and time information posted on the same website the ticket was purchased.

    Draw will be held at 2342 Rosewall Crescent, Courtenay, BC

    The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG). 

    All members of the public are welcome to attend the draw.

    Winners will be posted online at https://lushvalley.rafflenexus.com/winners on September 21, 2023.

  4. 4. Winner

    Winner will be contacted by phone by the LUSH Valley Food Action Society.

    Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

    If a winning ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor's parent, legal guardian or trustee.

    No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the LUSH Valley Food Action Society or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

  5. 5. Privacy

    LUSH Valley Food Action Society does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.

  6. 6. Complaints

    Any complaints can be directed to the raffle administrators by emailing: admin@lushvalley.org. Administrators will review the complaint and take action if necessary.

  7. 7. Delay in Draw

    Should a delay occur in the draw time on draw day, every effort will be made to make the draw as soon as possible. Should an alternate day need to be announced, after approval by BC Gaming, all ticket purchasers will be notified via email.

  8. 8. Other

    Please email our team at admin@lushvalley.org should you require a refund for any ticket purchases or would like to issue a complaint, and we would be happy to assist you.

Cause

LUSH Valley is registered non-profit organization focused on increasing healthy food access, improving food-systems education and advocating for a more food secure future for our region. This is done through various programs that include but are not limited to Good Food Box, Hot Meal, Fruit Tree and Farm Gleaning, Urban Agriculture, the Healthy Student Meal Program and the Comox Valley Food Policy Council.
